Blomberg.com is reporting that Disney is very close to buying up Marvel. Though the transaction hasn't taken place quite yet, Marvel investors will receive $30 a share plus 0.745 share of Disney stock. This would be the second largest deal for Disney Chief Executive Officer Robert Iger who aquired Pixar for $8.06 billion in 2006. The companies expect the transaction to close this year.
This is some pretty big news. Are we going to see Donald Duck Vs. Howard the Duck? Or maybe we'll just get a whole run of Spider-Mouse.
