In previous years, the Toronto After Dark Film Festival has been attended by a good number of guests for both their features and short film selections. When you attend you may get to meet such big names as Larry Fessenden, Lloyd Kaufman, Angus Scrimm and Uwe Boll or meet new up and comers like Faye Jackson who Directed the award winning Strigoi.

This year is no different and does TAD have some treats for you. Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) will be in attendance for his latest film The Last Exorcism on August 16th. He'll be doing a Q&A along with the film's leading actors Patrick Fabian and Ashley Bell.

For the opening gala, The Last Lovecraft (August 13th), Director Henry Saine, Writer/Producer/Actor Devin McGinn, Actor Kyle Davis and Producer Mike McGinn will be on hand for the international premiere of their film. They will be doing a Q&A and word is they'll be giving out masks to the audience inspired by designs seen in the film!

Writer/Director Joshua Grannell will be there for the Canadian premiere of his film All About Evil (August 17th) and as an added bonus, there will be a "gore" costume contest judged by Grannell and Toronto's own Fay Sligt.

Finally, on August 19th, ask your questions to the man courageous enough to remake I Spit on Your Grave, Steven R. Monroe. This one is sure to get the audience talking... what's left of it that is. It will take a strong stomach to make it through the sexual violence and revenge that permeates this film.

And these are just those that were announced. There might be others who decide to come out not to forget any of the great talents involved in making any of the short films screened throughout the week.
