Games Workshop has officially announced that they are re-launching the Blood Angels in April of 2010. A codex is confirmed and they also list a range of plastic miniatures as well. Not sure exactly if the codex is a major revamp or just tweaking the army to bring it in line with the new 5th edition rules nor is there any indication what miniatures are going to be released but rumours are going around that a new special character and Blood Angels upgrade sprue (ie. Blood Angels troop box?) could be seen.

If I was to wager a guess without any knowledge outside of what is currently available and what kind of army the Blood Angels are, I'd go with new characters or new character models for already existing characters and possibly a new Blood Angels terminator box, assault marine box and maybe even just a tactical squad box.

Only time will tell and we'll keep you posted as soon as we get anything official.
