I knew as I got older that every year I'd hear about the passing of more and more famous people. Some I wouldn't care about others I may have grown to admire their work but it is always disappointing when someone who has made such an impact and starred in some of your film favs passes away.

Dennis Hopper, star of many many films, passed away on the 29th of May, 2010 after losing his battle against prostate cancer. His genre works include Memory, Land of the Dead, 10th and Wolf, Apocalypse Now, Waterworld, Speed, Super Mario Bros, Space Truckers and a slew of others but I'll always remember him for his duel chainsaw wielding role of Lefty in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.

Fare thee well good sir. Though your works haven't always been the best, you'll be missed by this guy.
