I have yet to confirm it but many websites (including the National Post) are reporting that legendary fantasy illustrator Frank Frazetta has passed away today due to a stroke.
Probably best known for his work on Conan the Barbarian and Tarzan, Frazetta had a unique style that depicted muscular men and scantily clad women fighting ferocious monsters which has become a mainstay in the fantasy and scifi genres ever since.
If the information is correct, Frank will live on in his art but he will be missed. He was always someone I would have loved to have met. A true artist. RIP Frank.
