Games Workshop has officially announced that they are re-launching the Blood Angels in April of 2010. A codex is confirmed and they also list a range of plastic miniatures as well. Not sure exactly if the codex is a major revamp or just tweaking the army to bring it in line with the new 5th edition rules nor is there any indication what miniatures are going to be released but rumours are going around that a new special character and Blood Angels upgrade sprue (ie. Blood Angels troop box?) could be seen.

If I was to wager a guess without any knowledge outside of what is currently...

In tragic news, Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32. The actress went into cardiac arrest early morning on Sunday December 20, 2009 in LA, and, despite being rushed to hospital, was pronounced dead upon arrival.

She will be remembered by most for her roles in Clueless alongside Alicia Silverstone, her much talked about role in Girl, Interrupted and her roles in both Just Married with then-boyfriend Ashton Kutcher and 8 Mile alongside rapper Eminem. But genre fans will know her for the smashing performance she put forth in the thriller Don't Say A Word and the Robert Rodriguez...

Tribute.ca is saying that the next sequel in the Twilight franchise is going to be available in IMAX. It will be released to IMAX theaters simultaneously with the film’s launch on June 30, 2010. The film isn't being shot in the IMAX format but it will be digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience. I don't know how much of a difference there is between being shot in IMAX and being converted to IMAX but I'm sure there are some...

During an interview with Channel 4 News regarding the new James Cameron film Avatar, Sigourney Weaver let loose some interesting information regarding the potentially upcoming Ghostbusters sequel. She confirmed having seen a script for the film but it was one particular thing she said that has every website out there talking.

She told Channel 4 News: "I’m afraid to say it [Ghostbusters 3] is happening, I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking ‘would you read the script’. I know...

Samantha Tumpach, 22, was arrested at a Chicago movie theater for allegedly videotaping portions of the movie during a screening of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, with her digital camera. Apparently, she wasn't very familiar with her new camera and after snapping a few pics of her sister at the screening couldn't figure out how to turn it off. A manager seeing her with the camera, contacted police. She managed to grab 4 minutes of footage which consisted of some commercials and a conversation with her sister without actually getting any footage from the film.

The story brings up a few...

According to Tribute.ca, 17-year-old Andrew Conley has been charged as an adult for the killing of his 10-year-old brother.  When questioned about the incident Andrew told police that he “just felt like” Dexter, from the Showtime show of the same name. Andrew killed his brother by choking him until he bled, then putting a plastic bag over the boy’s head, using electrical tape to secure it around his neck. After making a stop at his girlfriend’s house,...

While audiences rushed out to see 2012 on the big screen, I thought I’d check out another end of the world film at the 2010 Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival (though I did see 2012 the next day). Fish Story is described as a doomsday adventure about the year 2012, the year a giant comet is set to destroy the Earth as we know it. That is, until it is rescued by a song, a long forgotten, obscure song written by a Japanese punk band that predated the Sex Pistols’ first album by a year.

Where 2012 is an FX spectacular thriving on the thrill ride of the century, Fish Story is...
